Because of their realism, my portraits make wonderful custom gifts and memorials, to the recipient often tear jerking.

If you have another idea that you cannot find please talk to me I always try me best to give you the painting you would like .
Choose your favourite photo that you want to eternalise in pastel
The clearer the photo the better, in natural light is always better for me. I can only paint what I see. Email the photo with your choice of size etc to me or send it by whatsapp or messenger.
Have a conversation with me (I am very friendly :-)
I will call you to discuss your commission in further detail and I can give you details of the time it will take etc and get the info from you, I always like to know the pets name and where the memory was taken.
I truly form a connection with each little character that I paint, especially those that have passed over the rainbow bridge, and am always told that I capture that in my work 😊 All portraits are painted from photos and I offer the inclusion of the background too, making the portrait a wonderful memory not just a portrait.
Pay a small deposit
I will send you the details for the deposit and bank details by email. Sorry to ask for this but I put many hours and attention to detail in to paint your perfect portrait and also often need to acquire more of the highest quality, very expensive media that I use.
Just wait for the magic to happen :-)
Paintings take between 4 and 12 weeks to complete, but I can occasionally meet a deadline for a special event. I will have already informed you of the time. I will keep you updated on my progress and send you a final photo of your painting to ensure you are satisfied. I'll then ask you to select a frame color.

About Me
My Background
A pet portrait specialist who recreates exquisite pastel portraits of our cherished pets.
My favourite class in school has always been art, but I set this aside and have spent the rest of my life working full-time in a fulfilling, encouraging environment.
When I returned to my art later in life, I discovered that creating it helped me support myself. I began by using acrylic paint to paint landscapes, but I soon developed a passion for using pastels, especially to paint portraits of pets.
Now established and accepting commissions, I find great satisfaction in creating my portraits, particularly when they serve as mementos for those who have lost or loved pets.
My Medium
As a pet portrait artist, I like to use pastels for my portraits because they provide a true depth and texture that accurately captures the texture of fur. I gradually add layers to a portrait so that it almost seems as though you could reach out and touch it. I have made significant investments in high-quality mediums to ensure that your portraits are light-fast and fade-resistant. I only use the best.
My Inspiration
I love animals, especially dogs and have two of my own, Dugee and Bella. I have grown up with pets and as a pet portrait artist I love painting them for their owners, especially when I see their reactions on completion.
My two pups join me in my studio every day as my Bark Critics and make the studio complete. My portraits make a wonderful gift or keepsake for the family.
